Grab, Go, & Grow Baby Shower set for June 14 in Canton

CANTON – The Grab, Go, & Grow Baby Shower, a free, family-friendly community event for new parents and parents-to-be, will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 14 at the Eric Snow YMCA, 420 Third St. NW.

Attendees can connect with local organizations and agencies that offer programs and services designed for them.

Attendees must visit the registration table to receive pre-packed bags, and tickets/wristbands to access attractions before visiting with local community partners to gather other items and resources and enjoy activities.

In addition to giveaways, resources, and education, the event will feature the ZOO-2-GO Animal Adventures Petting Zoo, food by City Diner, chair massages by Mobile Bliss Massage, sweet treats by Polar X-Press, and first-year photoshoots by Alexa P. Artistry.

There will be games and a family activity table where parents and caregivers can make items with their children to take home.

The Grab, Go, & Grow Baby Shower is hosted by the Community Action Pathways HUB program at Stark County Community Action Agency. The hosts will be joined by SCCAA Head Start/Early Head Start, Stark County Health Department, The Hearth Mother LLC, Aultman Birth Center, Lovebugs and Ladybugs Childcare Center, Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Access Health Stark County, Stark Blessing Box Initiative, Triad Deaf Services, and other community partners.
